Smith Lake is conveniently located in North Alabama. It is a reservoir located on the Sipsey Fork of the Black Warrior River that covers over 21,000 acres in Cullman, Walker, and Winston counties. Fisheries have stocked the Gulf Coast strain of striped bass annually for almost 30 years. On average striped bass grow around 3 pounds a year. The deep clear water combined with underwater trees and brush makes Smith Lake the perfect habitat for stripers.

Most fish are caught on live shad; however artificial baits can also be used. Trips can be booked year round and depending on the season different techniques and times to fish are used to ensure you catch the most and largest fish possible.
